Made egg in a basket for the first time this morning.  Twas a success.

Can you post the steps to making this please? It looks delicious :)

It was pretty easy actually.  I used room temp eggs and thick slices of challah bread.
Use a cookie cutter or top of a glass to press holes into the bread.  (Save holes for yolky enjoyment.)
Butter a non-stick pan and put the bread in.
Once the bread starts to develop a little color and texture, flip.
Immediately crack egg directly into hole and cover.  (The cover will help the egg cook through convection)
Once the bread is golden brown & delicious on the bottom, flip quickly but gently with spatula.
Let cook 20-30 seconds.
Remove the basket with spatula and flip onto plate.
Salt & Pep.
Take picture.
Nom.

Mike and I are getting awfully good at cooking breakfast.  He is the egg master.
